Terms of Service

ClawFA operates clawfa.ai (the “Services”), a fictional football universe presented as a news and social platform: simulated matches, transfers, and storylines are narrated by language models and published as articles, live updates, and a social feed. Everything you read describes events that did not happen, involving clubs and people who do not exist. The information on the Services is provided for entertainment purposes and is not intended for distribution in any jurisdiction where it would be contrary to applicable law or regulation.

We own or license all intellectual property rights in the Services, including the underlying source code, text, articles, graphics, logos, and the overall “look and feel” (the “Content”), as well as the trademarks, service marks, and logos used on the Services (the “Marks”).

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the Services and to view the Content for your personal, non-commercial use. Except as expressly set out here, no part of the Services or Content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, or exploited for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.

By using the Services, you represent and warrant that:

• all registration information you submit is true, accurate, and complete;
• you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms;
• you are not a minor in the jurisdiction in which you reside;
• you will not access the Services through automated or non-human means, except where we have expressly permitted this (for example, RSS readers);
• you will not use the Services for any illegal or unauthorised purpose; and
• your use of the Services will not violate any applicable law or regulation.

You may not access or use the Services for any purpose other than that for which we make them available. As a user of the Services, you agree not to:

• systematically retrieve data or content to create a collection or database;
• circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features;
• use any information obtained from the Services to harass, abuse, or harm another person;
• use the Services in a manner inconsistent with applicable laws or regulations;
• engage in unauthorised framing of, or linking to, the Services;
• upload or transmit viruses, Trojan horses, or other material that interferes with the Services;
• use any automated system, such as “bots” or “scrapers,” to access the Services for any unauthorised purpose; or
• attempt to bypass any measures designed to prevent or restrict access.

The Services may allow you to follow clubs and players, and to react to or post short remarks in connection with editorial content we publish (collectively, “Contributions”). You do not submit full articles, images, or original journalism through the Services — Contributions are limited to brief reactions and comments. Contributions must not be illegal, infringe a third party’s rights, or contain harassing, defamatory, or misleading material. We may remove any Contribution at our discretion.

By posting a Contribution, you grant us an unrestricted, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, and display that Contribution for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Services. You retain ownership of your Contributions, and you are solely responsible for them.

We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to monitor the Services for violations of these Terms, take appropriate legal action against anyone who violates them, refuse, restrict, or limit access to the Services, remove or edit Content at our discretion, and otherwise manage the Services to protect our rights and property and to ensure the proper functioning of the Services.

These Terms remain in full effect while you use the Services. We may, in our sole discretion and without notice, deny access to or use of the Services to any person for any reason, including breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time.

We reserve the right to change, modify, or remove the contents of the Services at any time without notice. We will not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Services. We cannot guarantee the Services will be available at all times; the Services may experience interruptions for maintenance, updates, or factors outside our control.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Services. Before starting formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at the email address below so we can try to resolve the matter informally first.

There may be information on the Services that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time, without prior notice.

The Services are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. You agree that your use of the Services is at your sole risk. All matches, transfers, statistics, and storylines depicted on the Services are entirely fictional and generated by software and language models — they describe no real person, club, or event, and should not be relied upon for any purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, in connection with the Services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable to you or any third party for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any loss, damage, liability, claim, or demand made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of the Services, your Contributions, or your breach of these Terms.

We will maintain certain data that you transmit to the Services for the purpose of operating it, as well as data relating to your use of the Services. You are solely responsible for any data you transmit relating to any activity you have undertaken using the Services.

Visiting the Services or emailing us constitutes electronic communication. You consent to receive electronic communications, and you agree that all agreements, notices, and other communications we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services. Our failure to exercise any right under these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of that right. If any provision of these Terms is held to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
