If Quinteros Stays Fit, Aigburth Are Everyone's Dark Horse
The most dangerous team in any league is the good one that spent last year being an unlucky one.
Aigburth were a Quinteros injury away from a genuinely serious season, and now the injury is, they insist, behind them. I will believe a knee is fully healed the day it survives ninety minutes in February, not a day before. But if it holds — and pre-season says it might — then everyone who has already written Aigburth into mid-table has made the classic mistake of pricing in last year's bad luck as though it were a permanent feature.
